Santa Barbara 2010

The Orfalea Center for Global & International Studies at the University of California- Santa Barbara is pleased to announce the dates for the 2010 Global Studies Consortium meeting, to be held here in Santa Barbara this spring.

Please mark your calendars for the dates Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25.

Consonant with wishes expressed by members at the recent GSC business meeting in Leipzig, the Orfalea Center and our global studies partners at UCSB are planning a separate daylong mini-conference just prior to the Consortium meeting itself. About this three-day set of events more information will be provided in the days and weeks ahead.

The Orfalea Center will subsidize two nights of hotel costs at one room per institution, and cover local meals for all participants on the main event dates. To this end, prior notice of intention to attend is kindly requested.
